Terms of Service

These terms govern enrollment in courses and use of online services (the online judge, forum and classroom) operated by Longer Vision Technology (Canada) Ltd. (“Longer Vision”, “we”), 19 - 14338 103 Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada.

1. Enrollment and payment

Enrollment is confirmed when tuition (or an agreed deposit) is received. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Fees are in Canadian dollars; taxes, where applicable, are shown on the invoice or at checkout.

2. Classes

We may reschedule individual sessions with notice (e.g., statutory holidays or instructor illness); rescheduled sessions are made up, not forfeited. For online sessions, a stable internet connection and a computer meeting the posted course requirements are the participant’s responsibility.

3. Withdrawals and refunds

Withdrawals are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Student conduct and online services

Accounts on our judge, forum and classroom are personal and for enrolled students. Plagiarized contest submissions, harassment, or attempts to disrupt the services may result in suspension. We moderate to keep these spaces safe for minors.

5. Intellectual property

Course materials are licensed to enrolled students for personal study and may not be redistributed or resold. Code that students write is theirs.

6. Media

We only photograph students or publish student names/results with prior written consent from a parent or guardian, which may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected course. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
