Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Longer Vision Technology (Canada) Ltd. handles personal information in accordance with Canada’s PIPEDA and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Because most of our students are minors, we collect the minimum we need and always involve a parent or guardian.

What we collect

  • Enrollment: student and guardian names, email, phone, course history.
  • Payments: processed by our payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Interac). We do not see or store card numbers; we keep transaction records for accounting as required by law.
  • Online services: accounts and submissions on our judge, forum and classroom (self-hosted in Canada where practical).
  • Website: this site sets no advertising trackers. Aggregate analytics, if enabled, are anonymized.

How we use it

To deliver and schedule courses, issue receipts and tax documents, communicate about a student’s progress, and meet legal record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student work for marketing without written consent.

Retention and access

Enrollment and accounting records are kept as required by CRA rules (generally 6 years), then deleted. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us; we respond within 30 days.
